Classes for March 21st and 22nd have been canceled. At this time, for any canceled classes we are offering a full refund or option to sign up for a later date. The Red Cross is still allowing classes to take place under new guidelines for social distancing. Classes thereafter will be decided on by Wednesday of the week of class. The best way to submit a question is to send a message through the portal below on this page.
Thank you for working with us through this public health crisis.
When help is minutes away, you could be the difference between life or death. Are you prepared? Do you know how to give life safety aid to a heart-attack victim?
Our Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age - adults (about 12 years and older) and pediatric (infants and children up to 12 years of age). Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.
Our Beaverton-based classroom setting provides a convenient certified training environment with schedule flexibility.
HDE will refund payment for the course, less $5 for processing, if the student notifies the instructor via email that they wish to cancel no less than 1 week before the start of the class. There are no refunds once the class is less than 1 week away.
The student can re-schedule the class to another opening listed on the HDE website at no additional cost if the student emails the instructor with at least 3 days notice before the class the student originally signed up for. There are no re-schedules allowed once the class is less than 3 days away.
